Who we are
A sustainability consultancy that measures what it advises — and builds the platforms to prove it.
We bridge strategy and delivery: advising boards on climate risk, energy and ESG, then implementing the programs and technology — including our own Virtual Energy Network and sustainability index — that turn intent into outcomes.

Common questions
What is a Virtual Energy Network?
A Virtual Energy Network (VEN) lets surplus energy generated or stored at one site be shared across other sites or members in a network — moving beyond single-site solar or a battery-only Virtual Power Plant to a coordinated, multi-site energy system.
How is a VEN different from a Virtual Power Plant (VPP)?
A VPP dispatches stored battery energy from individual sites. A VEN goes further: it routes excess generation and storage to other sites and members in the network, so many sites operate as one optimised energy system.
What does ReThink Sustainability's consulting cover?
We advise on energy, emissions and net-zero strategy, waste and water programs, ESG and climate-risk reporting, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals — then help implement and measure the outcomes.
Where is ReThink Sustainability based?
ReThink Sustainability is based at Level 10, 530 Collins Street, Melbourne, and works with ports, councils and corporate clients across Australia.
